DEFEND FIFE WORLD WAR II FESTIVAL

Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th September 2018

In 2018 ``Defend Dunfermline`` has grown bigger into ``Defend Fife``.

Members of the Fife branch along with their standard took part in a parade taking place in the town centre of Dunfermline to celebrate both the British Home guard and Polish Army.  Others taking part were groups from Legion Bikers, Legionnaires from Dunfermline and Grangemouth, cadets from Fife and Grangemouth, RN and RA Associations and Dunfermline and District Pipe Band. Provost Jim Leishman, the Polish Consul General (Edinburgh) and Padre Rory MacLeod from 154 Regt took part in this commemoration of the actions by the Polish Army and Fife Home Guard in defence of the county of Fife in WW2.

Below are some Photos from the parade and the Remembrance Service at the WW1 Memorial by Dunfermline Abbey.
