We have had a quiet month in October leading up to a busy month in November.
Some of us attended a Sports Dinner in the Club and had a very entertaining evening.
The Chairman has the money which it was agreed to give to the members who are going to the Cenotaph in London.
We have a Fife stalwart who is very unwell, perhaps Mr D Forbes can update us.
The Chairman has no phone number for Mr Andy Nicol from Murthly who is attending to carry our Standard, on Remembrance Sunday 10/11/2019, Starting from Thimblerow car park stepping off at 09.40, perhaps Mr Forbes could help.
We require wreath layers for the following.
The Polish war graves + standard bearer.
51st War memorial on Friday 08/11/19.
Mercat Cross on 08/11/19.
The wreath in St Johns Kirk will be laid by the Chairman Mr David Taylor.
Timings from Mr J Kirk secretary.
We also have some members going to the Remembrance Service at the Caird Hall in Dundee.
Mr A Stirton kindly offered some seats on the Sea Cadets bus on a first come first served basis.
We need names tonight for the Christmas meal. Please give to John Kirk.

The Secretary sent an email to the Regional Secretary asking for a Christmas grant for our dinner dance on Saturday the 21st December 2019. A reply was received confirming the grant was approved.
The Secretary received a letter from Poppy Scotland containing instructions for the Garden of Remembrance at the Mercat Cross, St Johns Square on the Friday 8th November 2019.
The Secretary received info about the North Inch 1st/ 51st Memorial.
The Secretary received an email from Perth Council about the Remembrance Parade on the 10th November 2019.
(there will be copies on the table for members to read).
The Polish Ex–Combatants Wreath laying is on the 3rd November 2019 at Wellshill Cemetery at 2.45pm.
The Secretary also received the RASC/RCT Association Scotland Yearly Planner from the Regional Secretary.

The Branch Account continues to show a healthy profit.
SOCIAL CONVENER’S REPORT
Christmas party night on the 21st December 2019, 7pm for 7.30. In the St Johnstone Club, Barossa Street, Perth.
Perthshire Branch Burns night is on the 18th January 2020. At the St Johnstone Club, Barossa Street, Perth.
Queens Barracks Burns Night (7 Scots) is on 25th January 2020. At the Royal George Hotel.
Black watch Association Burns night is on 1st or 8th February Salutation Hotel at £25 per head.
2020 summer trip unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances this has been cancelled for the time being.
Mr D Forbes informed members that Mr Matt Erskine from the Fife Branch is receiving palliative care in the hospice at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. He is getting lots of visits from Fife branch members.
Mr Tavendale thanked the members for their card on his 99th birthday
