I attended the remembrance Ceremony in the Caird Hall on the 3rd November 2018. Once again we travelled in the Naval Cadets mini bus organised by Mr A Stirton. We returned to the St Johnston Club and had a few beers. I would like to thank Mr Stirton for a most enjoyable evening.
On Sunday the 4th November Members of the Branch attended the Polish War Graves, the Branch wreath was laid by Mr D Forbes.
On the weekend 10th/11th/12th of November, I and our President Mr W Alexander took part in the Cenotaph Parade in London. Mr Alexander will give the report.
Mr J Munro laid the Branch wreath in St Johns Kirk on Remembrance Sunday.
Mr N Little laid the Branch wreath at the Mercat Cross in Perth on Friday 09/11/18.
On Tuesday 13/11/2018 I and John Kirk picked up Mr D McPhee and he laid a wreath on behalf of the Branch, at the 51st Memorial at the North Inch. I felt it would be wrong to ignore the 51st at this time of Remembrance.
As you all know, we had the plaque in Remembrance of the RASC soldiers
who fought in two world wars Mounted in St Johns Kirk. I feel as a Branch we should be proud of this as the Plaque is there for Eternity.
The Secretary sent an email to the Lord Provost’s PA to thank him for attending the Plaque Dedication Ceremony at St Johns Kirk. A reply was received.
Perthshire branch has had a busy month with services and laying wreaths on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 9th. 11th, 13th of November, also several of our members went to London for the Cenotaph Parade.
The Branch would like to say thank you to all who attended.
The Secretary received an email from the Regional Secretary regarding the Christmas grants.
We welcomed a new member a Mr Neil Porter, the members welcomed him into the branch.
The Branch accounts continue to show a healthy balance.

SOCIAL CONVENER’S REPORT
Mr Stirton told the members about the Christmas Dinner Dance at the St Johnston Club, Barrossa St, Perth. The Menu is on the Branch web page and the branch Face book page. The Dinner is on the 15th December 2018 at 7pm- 7,30pm at £20 per person. Let the Secretary know what you want from the menu.
Mr G Kerrigan is now back home.

Mr W Alexander gave a report on his travel down to London for the Armistice Parade, it was a great day and the atmosphere was fantastic. Mr Alexander took a wheel Chair and Mr D Taylor pushed him about.
Mr Thomas Cochrane told the members he was at Lossiemouth for the remembrance parade where his youngest son, Jared was on his first Remembrance Parade since joining the RAF. Naturally his Parents were very proud of him on such a memorable day.
